"Christi changed my life. She nannied both of my children from birth until 6. She taught them how to use the bathroom, eat their fruits and vegetables, sing and laugh. I went through a divorce in 2015 and she saved my family. I will never be able to thank her enough. I recommend her with the highest enthusiasm."

"Christi is simply an amazing nanny and an even better person. When we hired her, I was fortunate to get a personal reference from her prior family who were actually my friends and colleagues at the hospital. We were both from 2-physician families, and we had matching priorities for dependability, punctuality, professionalism, and outstanding judgment. They made it very clear that she was simply an "amazing human" who we needed to hire.
Our experience working with Christi has been incredible. She is honestly more than a nanny to us. She has become a part of our extended family, and we consider her to be a lifelong friend. Our two boys (now 3 and 6) absolutely adore her. We trust her judgement in all aspects of our children's care. We have no doubt that she will alway prioritize what is best for them. Especially during recent times, we have had so much reassurance of sharing our home and kids' care with someone who was so ready to be on the same page as us."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a preschool teacher for 10 years at a small private school that went from preschool-8th grade. I taught Pre-K and often times had 15 children in my class. I also substituted in the various classes when needed. During summer vacation, I worked at the summer camp the school offered. I created curriculum to engage the children in fun yet educational activities.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really enjoy doing project and process art with children. Giving them opportunities to be creative is very important. I enjoy being outdoors giving the children a chance to explore nature, ride bikes or simply having a picnic. Reading is my favorite past time and it is a daily part of our routine.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is loving each child right where they are in life. Each stage requires something different……but loving, caring and nurturing them never changes.
My experience with special needs children...
My first family had a child on the spectrum. He has dealt with many things over the years and I was an intricate part of that. I took him to many therapy sessions, implemented the therapies at home, created a structured environment where he felt safe and eagerly learned how to interact with him so he felt heard and seen. As he grew older I had to adapt just as he did. I learned to allow him space to fail and to help him learn from those instances.
The most important part about being a nanny...
There are a lot of moments….but what sticks out most happened just recently.
The young man in the spectrum who I worked with since he was a small child just graduated from high school and is attending Notre Dame in the fall. He went from private school, to home school to public high school. He worked extremely hard and I am so proud of him. While at his graduation party, his mother said to me “Thank you for loving my son. He is where he is today because of your love and support along the way.”
I don’t take all that credit…..it took an army as it always does, but I am so proud to have been an critical part in his life.
