More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Cared for Children at a daycare 2-3 times a week, Volunteered. For about 4 months a year for 3yrs.

Since I was 8yrs. I've been babysitting babies/kids, knowing I was a kid myself but I somehow was a fast learner and managed.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Definitely Outdoors is a plus. Doing a kinds of activities & fun. Exploring going on walks to the park or lake view. Museums are a plus.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Trust, close communication with children.
Patience is the one needed most with children, learning their moves and whereabouts.
Their personality.
Children's company.

My experience with special needs children...

special need children can be difficult at first until you get how they are as in react and behave, then the long run gets easier as the days go by. They sure do need alot of attention.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Museums are my favorite, exploring with the little ones, their expressions are so real. I like that surprising part on their face.

Madelyn H. - Seeking Work in Seattle

Babysitter Available in Seattle, WA: Madelyn H.

Hi! My name is Maddi, and I’m excited to introduce myself as a potential nanny or babysitter for your family. I have several years of experience caring for children of various ages, both in my hometown over the summers and while living in Chicago during university. These experiences have helped me develop patience, reliability, and a strong ability to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

I was also a Division I swimmer, which gave me the opportunity to work with children as a swim instructor and coach. I love helping kids build confidence, learn new skills, and stay active in a positive way.

I regularly care for my 2-year-old niece, which has deepened my love for working with kids. As an artist, I enjoy incorporating creativity through crafts and imaginative play.

I would love to support your family and provide thoughtful, compassionate care. Thank you for your consideration!

Babysitter Available in Seattle, WA: Jake D.

Hi, I'm Jake! I’m a trans-man currently working in healthcare with a strong passion for caregiving. While my formal childcare experience is primarily within my family, I grew up helping raise my younger brothers and sister, which gave me a solid foundation in daily childcare, routines, and emotional support. I’m patient, attentive, and safety-focused, and I’m actively working toward my CPR and First Aid certification while continuing to build professional childcare experience.

Tehya W. - Seeking Work in Seattle

Full-Time Nanny Available in Seattle, WA: Tehya W.

Hello,

My name is Tehya. I’m from Newport, Oregon but recently just relocated to Everett, Washington with my fiancé. I was raised in a very large family setting, having 4 other siblings and me being the 5th. With me being one of the oldest siblings, I had a huge responsibility when it came to watching my younger siblings. I started babysitting my siblings and slowly grew into the position of babysitting for my moms friends/co workers/ and other community members children. Also, the high school that I graduated from had a childcare program that you could take as a credit (which I did.) The class brought on the responsibility of taking care of any children (of all ages) enrolled in the program. Finally, every summer (3 years total) I was asked to help in a six day babysitting camp. These children were also of all ages, and were put in the 6 day program because their parents had an official meeting to attend. I feel confident to say that I am a hardworking, dedicated, responsible, committed worker, and I love helping people and watching children. If given the opportunity I would love to watch your children at any time and become a nanny in your home!
If you would like more information or have any specific questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this!
