I worked at a daycare for 3 years while I was in High School. During this time I would feed, read, play, and take the children on adventures. Outside of the daycare I would often watch many of my young family members. I just recently started to branch out to work with families individually.

I believe the most important part about being a nanny and caregiver is creating a safe and trusting environment for children. Children need to be able to feel beyond secure with whoever is taking care of them. Building that trust will help create a more fun and memorable environment/experience at an early age.

My favorite moment while caring for children will have to be the recess times. I really enjoyed being able to make children happy as I played with them at the park, jumped rope, played hopscotch, etc.
