During my employment with these three families I did not have any problems communicating with them even though I am not fluent in English. On the contrary, the children benefited from it by learning a lot of Spanish. I used smart phone translation to communicate with the parents. Again, communication was never a problem. My background as a pre-school teacher helped prepared the children under my care for kindergarten.
