A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Deanna. I have raised two children of my own and have been involved with the care and education of kids for the past 31 years, all the way from infants to middle schoolers, from diapers and sleep training to homework and activities! Most importantly, I am so much more than a babysitter, as I intentionally seek opportunities to both engage children’s minds and build their character.

I have 9 years’ experience in tutoring and 10 years' experience as a substitute teacher. I am a trustworthy and active individual. who enjoys sports and likes being active with kids in the outdoors. I enjoy reading to kids, being artistic and sometimes being just silly. Moreover, I am always looking for a teaching moment in everyday opportunities. I am comfortable in the pool and have full flexibility to travel. I am able to cook, run errands, and perform light cleaning and laundry. I am organized, responsible and nurturing.
