A little bit about me

I am a highly reliable, mature and responsible retired teacher. I have over 30 years teaching experience in grades K-8, including experience teaching Special Education.. In addition, I have experience being: a Nanny, Camp Counselor, Girl Scout Leader, and Swimming and Sailing Instructor.. My current certifications include: Early Childhood, Special Needs, , ESL & Reading.. I love children and have raised three of my own. I enjoy the outdoors and keep active walking our family dog, going on hikes and camping in the mountains, whenever possible. I am interested in working with a family on a part time basis. Ideally, I would spend 20 hours per week with a newborn and would be willing to help out with light housework. I would also consider nannying school aged children if the hours worked. In summary, I have many years of experience working with children of all ages both in my personal and professional lives and am highly qualified for a nanny position.
