Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have my Early Childhood Education Certificate from Cabrillo College. I used this to become a preschool teacher and then later operated my own daycare homes with children from newborns to middle school. I have raised 2 sons and 5 grandchildren! Sadly they have recently moved out of state and for the first time in over 30 years I have not had a car seat in my rear view mirror! I am looking for work that has meaning and being around young children brings that to me.

Reading! At any and all ages! I love music, art, collecting rocks and going for walks to look for ants. I enjoy exploring the world through the eyes of a child.

I am Celiac (gluten intolerant) and completely understand food restrictions and their importance with children who have an allergy or intolerance.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moment was when I was blueberry picking and a child I had never met before came up and gave me the biggest hug! My grandson who was old enough to appreciate the act, stated that now he knows why I was such a good teacher! Kids just gravitate to me!
