A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Elizabeth and I recently moved from Denver, CO to San Francisco for my job in public relations! I attended The University of Colorado, Boulder and was a Delta Gamma (shoutout DG’s!). I have been babysitting since I was 14 as the neighborhood I grew up in was full of kids, as well as lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons. Throughout high school I watched a family with 4 little ones only a couple years apart in age with the youngest being 2. I also nannied full time the summer before going into my senior year of college. I have experience with kids who have developmental challenges as well as families with pets, as I used to regularly dog sit as well and have two of my own. I work very fixed hours at my remote job during the week from 8:30AM-5:00PM so I am only available to babysit on week nights and during the weekends! Something to note, I do not have a car here.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Anything outdoors whether it be sports, playing with pets, or other activities. I used to always play with dolls and Barbie’s or play “kitchen” with my kids. Honestly it is up to them as long as long as it is not just sitting on the ipad :)

The most important part about being a nanny...

Safety is always number one. I think I attentiveness and patience as well as a playful personality are all necessary when it comes to taking care of children. Parents want to make sure their kids are in good hands and the kids want someone who will be fun to play with!

My experience with special needs children...

I have 5 years of experience after school babysitting a child with autism.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nannying moment was going to the aquarium at night! Very fun activity and it was also not very crowded so we were able to pet the sting rays for a long time.
