I am a mother of 3, I have babysat since I was young, I have helped raise two step daughters and my nephews for the last ten years, I took early childhood development courses in high school, I have coached elementary aged kids, and I have volunteered in several youth child care settings in the past.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am an outdoorsy type when it comes to activities with the kids; some go-to activities are hiking, swimming, visiting playgrounds, playing in creeks when the weather permits, scavenger hunts, and much more. I am also an adventure seeker and like taking the kids to explore different places and activities; like exploring state parks or historical sites, concerts or plays, taking mini trips to new places, going to fairs or carnivals, and really the possibilities are endless. I like to spend my time indoors being productive and taking that time to be helpful and resourceful; meaning educational activities or craft time, baking or cooking, teaching the kids how to clean and organize different areas of the home, movie time, and I try to be creative with new ideas for us to do.
