More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Growing up I volunteered with my dance program to teach summer week long sleep-away dance camps for (Children 7-13) at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
The fewer the screens the better!
Outside I love nature hikes and games where we get to observe the natural world around us and discuss our impact on our planet! How can we be respectful towards this earth? How can we create a habitat that is friendly to all creatures?
I love sports that teach teamwork, communication, coordination, and discipline. My favorite sport for this is volleyball!
Inside-I love books, art-making (collaging, drawing, water colors dress-up, etc), crocheting and imagination based games. My personal favorites are photographic games that rely on restrictions and expressive freedom to achieve creative thinking, storyboarding and gaining perspective on stories.
To be fair, I love a good documentary/ series, or creative show (Project Runway, Great British Bake off, etc) that help inspire new ideas, activities and ways of thinking. We can watch an episode and follow up with an activity related to that show! I grew up on PBS and loved to bake, make and create.

The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters most about being a nanny is providing attentive care and educational fun while meeting the needs of the family and the child/children. My favorite thing about children is the genuine awe and excitement in everyday adventures. Children are the most creative individuals because of their engagement with play!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was teaching my two gymnasts how to do a modified "death drop" after watching Ru-Paul's Drag Race and having our own fashion show!
