A little bit about me

For the last five wonderful years I have babysat for the same family. I have watched the two kids grow up and have learned a lot from their unfiltered, creative way of looking at the world. After they reached the age of going to school and I finished my undergraduate degree, I left my home in Amsterdam last March to come to San Francisco. I grew up in the Netherlands so I speak Dutch fluently but my mom is American so I also speak English and have an American passport. These last four months I have taken care of a two year old girl and a four year old boy. I was there Monday through Friday and woke the kids, drove them to and from activities and made food throughout the day as well as performing other households chores. Prior to that I took care of an autistic boy of 12. These experiences with different ages and challenges have made me a patient companion and caregiver. My study program was in literature so I enjoy reading with kids in an interactive way. Having been in the city for a while now, I also have become familiar with a lot of fun parks and museums to take kids to. I am looking for a live in nanny job, either full time or part time.
