Currently, I work for LeafSpring Schools in the 2 year old class. Our ratio is 1:8, however there are 16 kids under my watch most of the day. Before I moved to Virginia, I was a full time nanny/tutor that worked closely with 3-4 families. During college I worked as a teacher in China working with 3rd graders through high school students. In the states, I've worked as a teachers aide in a bilingual classroom (spanish/English) as well as multi classroom teacher for a preschool
Overall, I have been working with kids for almost 10 years now and I'm happy to help fill your families unique needs.
Although not fluent I can teach intro to spanish and chinese. I also encourage the use of sign language for all ages.

Playing outdoors, going for a walk, swimming, biking, beach days, museum days, mini cooking lessons, painting, crafts, the list goes on.
The most important part about being a nanny...
would be making sure the children at having fun in whatever we are doing. Even the unfavorable times.
My experience with special needs children...
I volunteered over the course of two years at ACE Childrens Learning center in Murfreesboro, TN. I worked side-by-side with children dealing with epilepsy, ataxia and down syndrome just to name a few.
