Hello! My name is Erin and I am looking for a part time nannying opportunity. I have been working and volunteering with kids in a variety of settings for the past 6 years. I have a BS in Psychology and am currently taking graduate level Social Work classes online.

Not only am I capable of ensuring children's safety and wellbeing, but I have a passion for consistently supporting their educational, artistic, and emotional growth. I love witnessing the emergence of their unique interests and supporting them in learning more about the world. I have the utmost patience for the big emotions they are feeling, and I have many research-backed interventions in my toolkit, including mindfulness techniques and redirection strategies.

I have extensive experience with children over the past 6 years. I started babysitting and tutoring while in high school. During college, I volunteered with elementary schools by leading STEM-focused afterschool programming. I also volunteered at a domestic violence shelter, leading arts-related programming with middle schoolers. During my internship, I researched and created social-emotional learning curriculum for grades K-12. After graduating, I worked at IU Bloomington's child care center, ensuring the highest quality of care for children ages 0-5.

I love creating art with a variety of sensory supplies (think macaroni! Pipe cleaners! Leaves! The possibilities are endless!). I also enjoy reading stories and informative books about a child's interests. Nature walks and impromptu dance parties are fun too!
