Hi! My name is Emma and I will be staying in Bloomington this summer to finish up 2 classes. With the classes being online, I do have a lot of free time and love working with kids! My work experience looks a little different than it actually is, so let me clarify! For two summers, I worked as a camp counselor at Camp Tecumseh. Here I was in charge of creating schedules for my group of 10ish kids ranging from ages 5-14, depending on the week and then obviously spending the entire week with them. I do have my lifeguard certification and know how to teach swim lessons! My other work experience is a volunteer opportunity I had here in Bloomington through my sorority. Once a week we would go to Rogers Elementary School to work with 1st and 2nd graders on their reading skills.
