More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Over the past five years, I’ve cared for children of all ages, from infants to school-age. Most recently, I worked full-time with a wonderful 3-year-old girl, where I planned fun daily activities, supported her learning, and helped her transition into preschool. In addition, I’ve provided babysitting for families with multiple children, including infants, and have always made it a priority to create a safe, loving, and engaging environment. Alongside childcare, I’ve supported families with light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation needs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging children in activities that spark their creativity and curiosity. Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, reading books together, playing outside, going on nature walks, building forts, and doing simple baking or cooking projects. I also enjoy incorporating learning into play—like practicing letters, numbers, or problem-solving through games—so kids are having fun while developing new skills.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building a trusting relationship with both the children and the parents. Children thrive when they feel safe, loved, and supported, and parents feel at ease knowing their little ones are in good hands. For me, that means being reliable, patient, and nurturing while also creating fun and meaningful experiences that encourage growth and independence. At its heart, being a nanny is about becoming a steady, positive presence in a family’s life.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when the little girl I cared for ran up, hugged me, and said, “You’re my best friend.” It was such a sweet reminder that beyond the daily routines and responsibilities, what children value most is feeling loved, safe, and connected.
