More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

For the past 6 years I have volunteered in the Kid's Ministry at my church. All throughout high school with my home church in Parker and then a church I attended in college in Santa Barbara.

I have a huge heart for teaching / speaking truth into this next generation!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am huge advocate for less screen time and the families I have previously worked for were too!

I love playing with kids outside (especially right now in the summertime) and letting them use their imagination. I can't even tell you the amount of games I have come up with for children whether its playing at a park or just in their backyard.

I think it's a great way for children to get exercise and increase brain development!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Teaching children kindess and respect. I think these two morals go a long way and are two values that I implent with each family I work for.

Teaching kids how to have kindess to their siblings, parents, teachers, classmates, etc. makes a world of a difference and in my personal experience, has helped solved conflicts within the home and at school.

Respect is something I think every child should know. Basic things such as manners (please & thank you), what patience looks like, cleaning up their toys, making their beds, etc. and most importantly WHY they need to know these things. Again, in my personal experience I have witnessed children develop these personal skills and its something they will get to utilize into their coming ages!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The last family I nannied for there were two girls and one boy (who was the middle child). While I tried to do more so-called boy activities with him, his two sisters usually involved him in their barbies and dress up times.

Getting to see all 3 of these kids dress up and pick out their own funny outfits was usually the highlight of my day!
