The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a nanny was helping a shy little girl I cared for come out of her shell through reading. She was very quiet at first and hesitant to speak, especially around new people. I started reading with her every afternoon, letting her choose the books and encouraging her to read along with me. Over time, she became more confident and even started acting out the stories with puppets and costumes.
