When we’re indoors, I love drawing and painting, listening to music, singing, dancing, reading books, building towers with blocks or magnet tiles, playing board games if they’re old enough.
When we’re outdoors, I love playing ball sports, playing with sand, using sidewalk chalk, going to the park, helping kids climb, pushing kids on swings, and taking stroller walks!

My experience with special needs children...
I was an instructional assistant for a few years. I supported students who had IEPS 1:1 and in small groups with class work. I was also a 1:1 aide for a student with Down syndrome for one year. Throughout my years of substitute teaching, I’ve worked in several special education classes.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have so many fun and special memories as a nanny, but one that sticks out is when Addison read a Biscuit book aloud to me for the first time after knowing her since she was a baby. I was so in awe that she could do that, and her little voice reading each word was just so sweet - I was so relaxed and happy in that moment.
