A really important part about being a nanny is making sure the kids I care for are safe and comfortable with me. I also think it is important to have a good relationship with the parents so that trust can be established.
My experience with special needs children...
I have not had the chance to care for a child with special needs. I did however grow up in a home with an autistic sister so I am comfortable caring for kids who have special needs.
