Our fun, techy, family is seeking a fantastic nanny to partner with! Our 10m old is a happy baby who is very big for his age (26lbs and in 18-month clothing)! We are currently working from home in the tech field. We have friendly and well-trained animals; three cats and two dogs. We are high risk for Covid, so partnering with a nanny who is in alignment with our Covid precautions is of utmost importance to us. Our ideal nanny will maintain a small social bubble and will not do any side jobs to keep their Covid exposure risk minimal.
Our neighbors are also working from home and are interested in a nanny share. Their children are a 2.5 yr old boy and a 6 yr old girl. They are only seeking part time care, and care would be happening only in our home.

You will be responsible for ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the children throughout the day. Full time care will be for the 10m old boy in our home. Duties include coordinating breastfeeding w mom, utilizing Baby Led Weaning techniques for introducing & feeding solid foods, diaper & outfit change, help with the baby’s laundry, facilitating nap time, and planning & facilitating daily play & age-appropriate developmental actives both indoors & outdoors. We would love it if outdoor play involved the dogs occasionally! You will also be responsible for daily tidying of any spaces used throughout the day.

The share family will only require PT care. The 2.5yr old is highly allergic to eggs and requires an epic-pen to be with him at all times. His lunches will be packed and sent with him each day. Their toddler is currently potty training, so experience with this would be helpful.

The Albrecht Family

A little bit about us…In search of a mother's helper. Seeking a flexible individual who can assist with childcare, home organization and light household tasks. The most important and fulfilling thing I'm doing with my life is being a mom and, yet, being a new care taker of a 5-acre farm with 14 animals and a 7,000sg/ft garden and hoping to have another child in the coming year, there is more I need and want to be doing on the property. I know that it will be a little while before my son is ready to be with you without me. So sometimes your job would be to hangout with my son nearby while I weed the garden. Sometimes, folding laundry, vacuuming or prepping some veggies/spices for dinner while he plays in the house. Sometimes building a marble run or shooting nerf bow and arrow with him. Sometimes helping me organize a closet or the garage...or just keeping him safe in the garage while he watches me reorganize. I'm not expecting you to cook full meals, clean bathrooms, weed my 7,000sq/ft garden or muck barn stalls. Mostly your job will be to have eyes on my son's safety so I can focus my attention elsewhere. Having been a nanny, I worked for people who had me running all over to lessons with their pre-Kers and those who wanted me totally up in their 4 month old's face all the time. That's not what I want because it's not what my child responds to. He and I have spent the past school year in a cooperative preschool and it just isn't his jam. I've learned that he is happiest, feels safest and is most likely to open up to new people at home. I've learned that structured play bores him, that he likes to putter and follow his own curiosity, and that having autonomy in his play with just little ideas/encouragement from me (or you!) is where his imagination comes most alive. I'm totally open to applicants who have their own young child to bring to work. Someone who's grounded and wise, gentle, and quietly confident will be a great fit.
