We are seeking someone who has experience with preschoolers with big feelings. And who is nurturing, calm yet energetic, fun, kind, patient, reliable, a good communicator, attentive, trustworthy, and has great maternal instincts.
Our Ideal nanny will spend time playing outdoors all year round even in the rain, snow, wind and sun. We ask that the nanny be dressed and prepared to be outside several hours each day together.
will be committed to caring for our 5 year old for at least 1 year, as we prefer to develop a long term relationship with the nanny.
We are looking for someone that will be comfortable doing additional tasks around the house during quiet time. including meal prep, washing dishes, laundry, putting away laundry, sweeping, organizing, small projects, cooking, vacuuming around the house to keep the home tidy.
Hours:
Mondays 2:30pm-6:30pm
Thursdays 1:30pm -6:30pm
Occasionally Fridays: 3-8/9pm
Rate: $20 per hour.
Paid cash weekly.

Must have a clean driving record and clean background check.
Able to drive the child to activities and swim lessons.

We are joyfully expecting baby number one, due at the end of May. We are a two Mommy household. As two full time nurses, one of which is in graduate school we anticipate needing a fair amount of support. We are interested in Nanny’s familiar with attachment/ positive parenting. One of us was a Montessori/ reggio emilia preschool teacher and REI based infant Nanny and Doula prior to becoming a nurse. Quality early childhood education and care for our sweet little one is incredibly important to us.

We both work 12 hour shifts in a hospital downtown. One of us works weekends from 7a-7p and the other works 7p-7:30am for three random shifts a week with classes 7a-5p on Thursdays at UW. I foresee us needing someone available early mornings to late nights, as well as weekends a few days a week.
