More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked with children for as long as I can remember. I was raised as the eldest daughter of 5 and took pride in helping raise my younger siblings. I began high school in 2016 and began being a teacher-aide for many different grades, this is what sparked the idea of becoming a teacher. I graduated early in December of 2019 and began my college classes in Early Childhood Education as well as my job at Jills House Intergenerational Preschool. I have been working at Jills House since March of 2021 and I’m now ready to start a new opportunity as a nanny.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love getting to know the child and allowing them to lead the way. If you are able to observe children, you can see exactly what they enjoy and use that to teach them. I enjoy messy play such as full body sensory experience, being outside, painting, and so much more. I am also very open to any ideas or requests from the parents or guardians of those I am caring for.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part for me is nurturing. It is important to me to connect to each child I nanny or teach on a deep level, make them feel safe, loved, and offer them a stable relationship.
My experience with special needs children...
I have little to no experience with special needs children. I did help the special needs class at my high school a few times and found it very enjoyable. I have considered going to school to learn more about special need children and I would be very eager to learn and work with any children who need it.

You never know what to expect from children and everyday is a new fun experience full of enjoyable and memorable moments.
