My main goal as a nanny is to keep the kids safe and let the parents know that their kids are in good hands. As kids get older and are at that age where they start to mimic those around them it is important to make sure you are setting a good example through the way to speak to other as well as the way you speak about yourself.

A family I used to nanny for had a farm and the little boys used to love going to see their dad in the middle of the day. With 8 month old twins and a 3 year old sometimes it was hard to keep everyone clean on those days we did go. One day I ended up chasing the 3 year old through the mud. I was a little annoyed that I was all muddy and so was he but now I look back and can't help but laugh because when I think about it I can hear his little laugh and I remember how much we had.
