More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My passion is to work with special needs children. Since January 2014, I have been taking care of special needs children and even training others to work with them. I was a Special Educator at Proyash (Institute of Special Education) in Dhaka, Bangladesh from 2014 to 2018 where I worked with approx. 60 children with various conditions, such as autism, visual impairment and cerebral palsy, and I trained around 220 teachers who were certified through the institute. From 2018 until 2021, I was a Faculty Member at PISER, BUP, at Dhaka, Bangladesh where I was an assistant professor teaching approx. 1200 students over 12 semesters in the field of special education. I am currently enrolled in a diploma program at De Anza College in Cupertino, furthering my learning on Early Childhood Development. I want to continue to work with special needs children on a part-time basis and I am really eager to find a family I can help.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I can do a number of activities depending on the children’s needs and abilities. I can engage in academic activities such as learning abc’s and numbers, playing, drawing and painting, puzzle games, trips to the park, physical and mental stimulation activities and daily living activities such as brushing or tying shoes. I am happy and willing to discuss the activities with parents and comply with their directions.

My experience with special needs children...
