A friend of mine asked me to watch their 2 year old girl, and their 4 year old boy, for 2 hours every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love being outside with children because I believe it is good for them to get out of the house often; so tag, hide and seek, floor is lava, all that fun stuff is some outside activities that I love to do with kids. But when that isn't possible, I love to play puzzles with them, as well as coloring and drawing. I have babysat kids who love to play with cardboard boxes so that is an activity that is fun to do with the kids. If there is a time limit for TV and games then I will follow that but It is fun to watch the kids watch their shows or play their games.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny to me is to never let anything bad happen to your children. I was one of those kids who never had a good babysitter/nanny growing up, which resulted in my future goals, which is to become a social worker. It is important to me that your children are never put in harms way and that is my goal.
My experience with special needs children...
I have taken care of my nephew and he is autistic. I know that gentle voices goes a long way as well.
