I have worked with children since a young age, though professionally I worked as a teacher in a daycare/ early learning center for 2 years. Mostly I cared after 1-3 year olds though I frequently cared for infants 3-11 months old.

Since I’ve cared after children of a young age, it was important to me that I made education fun. I love making a game out of color/alphabet/ animal/number etc. recognition. I love going to parks, reading, and getting them involved in day to day activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Children are the funniest things ever! I love watching them grow and see how their personality develop or how strong their personalities become. My favorite moment so far was when this lovely 2 yr old girl at my daycare told another child “no no that’s not nice we have to share” after seeing the child be “not nice” to someone else. Or when a baby would start crying and our toddlers would try to comfort them by patting their backs and saying “sh sh it’s ok.”
