Throughout my 3 years of experience, I have had the opportunity to care for children in a variety of settings. I worked privately as a nanny for a family where I was responsible for task like supervised play, meal preparation as well as animal care. Prior to this I worked in a Children's Museum as a play coordinator where we facilitated interactive workshops to ensure engaging educational experiences.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love mixing outdoor and indoor activities to keep things engaging. I’d often take the child to the park to interact with other kids and get some fresh air. When the weather allowed, we’d play in a kiddie pool for water sensory fun. Indoors, I’d involve the child in real-life tasks like “helping” with dishes, clean-up, or cooking, which gave them a sense of responsibility and accomplishment while learning valuable skills. I always aim to make activities both fun and educational!

My experience with special needs children...

I have had the privilege of working with children who have ADHD, Autism and developmental delays. Through these experiences I have learned how to be patient, flexible, and attentive to each child’s unique needs. I focus on creating a calm, supportive environment that encourages both independence and social interaction. I always strive to meet them where they are to support their development.
