A little bit about me

I spent 4 years working full time for a family with 4 young girls. Their ages were 2,4,6 and 8 when I started. I loved them like they were my own. I worked from 8am-5pm 5 days a week. I prepared breakfast and lunch, did light housekeeping, helped the school age girls with homework and supervised and interacted with them on walks, riding their bikes, swimming, games, watching movies, playing dress up. They were a joy. The family relocated out of state for their business. That is when my employment with them ended. I also have 8 years of experience providing full time care for the elderly. I have worked live in shifts, and am open to that if needed. I am cpr and first aid certified, I have completed Health care professional training, and I have a fingerprint clearance card, and a negative tb test.

I was a full time nanny for 5 years. I took care of 4 young girls their ages were 2,4,6 and 8 years old. I aLeo provided respite care for parents of children with disabilities. I worked with a 4 year old boy, and a 3 year old boy. They both had autism.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy games some that are fun, some that are educational. I also enjoy doing crafts with children. I have found that making things can be both fun and can be a great way to encourage creativity and creative thinking. I have yet to meet a child that doesn’t enjoy the outdoors. A daily dose of sunshine is great for the body and spirit. I try to get out and walk, or go to a park. If time and schedule permits, I love to take children to a library, museum, or the zoo.
