My name is Izzie and I am looking for a position to start in June. I am currently working for a family that has four children. Their ages are 7 yo, 11 yo twins and a 12 yo and my hours are 9am - 4pm (split schedule). I have been working with them for almost 2 years.
My duties right now are: do laundry, make dinner, drive to sports, clean after dinner and pick up groceries from the store.
After years of working I gain experience with all age categories so I am comfortable with all kind of duties related to children. My first experience was with a new born so I am very comfortable taking care of all their necessities!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a volunteer at a orphanage for a long period. My family started a project there, so since I was 12 years old I started to help with take care of the kids activities.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I always like to ask them what they like to do (when they don’t know how to speak yet, I try to see what they like to do with their family first) and then I start to plan our activities from there. Depending on the weather we can go to the pool, make a picnics at the museum, go for a walk, play board games, bake, paint some canvas…there is so many fun activities to do! I love to try new things and to make them try it too and discover what they love.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I like to take care of people and I also want to make part of their development. As a child I used to think why adults couldn’t understand what we were saying, so now I try to do my best to understand them. Be respectful, disciplined, lovely and empathetic in your relationships can make your life better, so that’s what I want them to be!

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t have a lot of experience with special needs, but I can’t always learn!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Was when I got my kids to get some ice cream and it was so so hot that we had to stay in the car with the air conditioner on and they all laughed and talked while we listen to music in the car. It was a very fun experience in a simple way.
