A little bit about me

I am a 21 year old psychology major and art therapy minor at Mercyhurst University. I have worked as a camp counselor/lead teacher for children 4-9, as well as an assistant teacher for preschool age. I have volunteer experience such as painting a mural and aiding in teaching at a low income after school program. I love to incorporate nature and art into everything I do, including childcare. I also try to incorporate healthy lifestyle habits into my own life and the children that I work with. I have experience working with groups but have come to prefer working one-on-one with children. I have taken several classes regarding childhood development, communication, art therapy, mental wellness, and multiculturalism.
