Hello! I have over 10 years of experience in childcare. I moved to Seattle in 2022 and have been working as a nanny/household manager with a family of 5 since my arrival.

I will be in graduate school full-time beginning in September. I am hoping to find families looking for an occasional babysitter or regular care in evenings or on weekends.

I have worked with children in a home, therapeutic, and educational setting. I’m experienced working with children with ADHD and ASD.

I am CPR/First Aid Certified, vaccinated and boosted, can pass a background check, offer references, and have a clean driving record.

I am able to perform light housework, laundry, cook/meal prep, plan enriching activities, manage schedules, provide transportation, run errands, and care for pets.

My interests include art, jewelry making, playing music, camping, cooking/baking, and spending time with my dog.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a student teacher at Edison Elementary during my undergrad at Westminster. I taught Social Studies to 5th graders and absolutely loved it! I have worked as a tutor for middle school refugee and immigrant students. I have also worked as a Behavior Technician for children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder and have nannied for several families with children with ASD.

During my graduate program, I was a therapy intern on an adolescent psychiatric inpatient unit at a behavioral health hospital.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going on field trips to the park, museum, zoo, doing fun arts and crafts, cooking/baking, reading books, going to amusement/water/trampoline parks and helping with school work.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Childhood is so vital in forming a solid foundation for the rest of one's life. Surrounding your children with good role models who deeply care about the wellbeing of your child is the absolute best way to support and prepare a child for a successful path to adulthood. I just hope I can help in that regard!

My experience with special needs children...

I studied special education in college as I was interested in working as a SPED teacher. My focus changed to social work but I learned a lot about working with children with disabilities. I have worked as a behavior technician administering Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to children with Autism. I have also been a nanny to a wonderful 9 year old boy with Autism for a year, up until the family moved out of state.

I also worked as a therapy intern as part of my master's program in social work. I work with adolescents who require high acuity inpatient psychiatric care in a behavioral health hospital in SLC.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I nannied two little girls who were very silly and were only motivated to get ready in the morning if I pretended they were princesses who were attending a ball.
