I love being outside and going on long walks and trips to the library and parks. When I am allowed to drive, I like taking the kids to museums and pools and parks. I try my best not to put the kids in front of the television, so when we spend time at home, I love to read, bake, do art projects, and try science activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Rather than being there for the kids, I need a family that's good at communication and understands boundaries. If I am home, I am in charge. If I say no to something, I need you to back me up. I also need you to be as involved as I am in the development of your child and not expect me to be the default caregiver (ie. potty training, sleep training, child rearing, etc.).
The most important part about being a nanny...
I am always there for my kids. I will be there for every nanny-and-me class and attend every school event. I love watching babies learn and grow into curious toddlers and playful big kids.
