A little bit about me

I enjoy teaching children during the formative years, laying a foundation for education and a passion for lifelong learning. I'm familiar with Montessori, Waldorf, as well as lesser know methods that encourage early reading and STEM education. I don't follow any method strictly but have found success incorporating aspects of each into a daily schedule. I teach about music, art, dance, food and nature. I have taught baby/toddler sign language as well as early introduction to French and/or Spanish. I enjoy finding creative ways to get children engaged and help them to discover their early interests. I like to focus on teaching but always make it a priority to do it while having FUN and creating a healthy, vibrant learning environment! With me, you will never hear the t.v. but instead lots of talking and laughing! The first 5 years of a children's life are so important. I cherish the privilege and responsibility to teach and nurture during this special time.
