Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I did a lot of voluntary work at church and in the military for the kiddos. When it came to holidays and events in the military they try to make it fun for the kids and I was always there to connect and genuinely get to know each special personality that each child had.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love running, Biking, swimming, sports, watching funny movies, and cooking with the kiddos! Any type of movement of fun is my go to and as someone who matches peoples energies, kids always bring the most fun when it comes to outdoor or indoor activities!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny does consist of what is asked of you but what is asked should be the bare minimum! Being a nanny means a big level of integrity and intuition. Of course every child will be different and every experience will not be the same. At the end of the day I will always treat another persons child as my own and in this evil world we live in, ill give a child my life if that means that they get to live a better life than those that came ahead may or may not have had!
My experience with special needs children...
Unfortunately, I have been cautious of providing for a special need child only because of having to being extra intuitive and I am not trained in fields of these situations!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Ill never forget when I babysat for the neighborhood I would go to different houses daily so meeting a lot of families and kids is normal days for me. However, there was this one little girl who stuck out. She was very much of an introvert and genuinely was in her own world. Which there is nothing wrong with, for some reason her parents said I was the first person that did not live in the house that that little girl talked to. The actual sweetest part is the first thing this little girl said to me was, " I want to be a dragon princess, Jj do I look like a Dragon princess?" I turned to her and told her " You will always be a dragon princess not because of your looks but because you are remarkable and can do anything if you are willing to believe hard enough." To this day I'll never forget talking to that little girl gave me the feeling of talking to my younger self!
