Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have middle school experience being a Teacher's Assistant. I often helped teachers grade work and students with assignments. Recent experience would be my senior year of high school (I am a class of 2026 high school graduate). I volunteered at a children's field trip event (Durham Ferry - Manteca, CA) multiple times. I and other volunteers cared for children by providing food and water constantly, cleaning any cuts or attending any injuries.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some activities I have done with children are simple trips to playgrounds. I also tend to children with different toy options and am always willing to bring my own art activities to keep them occupied (coloring books, painting, slime/clay/play dough making).
The most important part about being a nanny...
I would say that one of the most important parts about being a nanny is being sure that this is something that you are passionate about. Do you have the patience, the energy? It is so so important to truly put your all into caring for children, especially when they are not yours.
My experience with special needs children...
Unfortunately, I do not have any experience with special needs children. However, as a confident young woman who loves children, I am more than willing to be taught!
