A little bit about me

Hey! My name is Jan and I am a current Junior at Temple University. I love working with kids and over the last three summers I’ve been a summer camp counselor for kids from all different ages. I have babysat my whole life and want to be able to work with kids more when I’m at school. I am looking to nanny full-time over the summer since I decided to stay in the Philly area this summer. I like to think I am super bubbly and high energy. I’m very flexible most of the time and would love to work with a family I can get to know!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think what matters for me most is always number one safety, but also making sure my kids are having a fun day! I love to laugh and have fun with kids. I will always make sure there safety is first priority. I hope to treat your kids like they were on of my own for the day.

My experience with special needs children...

At my summer camp I had to work with various children with special needs. I have worked with kids who have autism, adhd and down syndrome. Most of them have been under the age of 13.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I use to babysit a baby girl who was 9 months old. One of my fondest memories with her was playing this baby xylophone with her. It always made her smile and have the cutest belly laugh. We spent the whole day together and every few hours she would want to play her xylophone. It was one of our first bonding moments!
