My experience with special needs children...

I worked with Autism behavior company for two years. With in those years I was the personal aid for autistic students ranging from 5 years old to 17 years old. Some of tasks included, helping prepare breakfast and lunch, help them with classwork, help them manage their behaviors, help them learn new behaviors such as making sure they are holding an adults hand when crossing the street. I play with them during recess or if at home we played outside and I have also assisted in the bathroom.
