A little bit about me

Hello my name is Jen and I would love working with children. I started babysitting when I was 13 and it just kind of stuck with me. I've worked with adults that needed care as well. But I prefer kids and just seeing how they learn and grow. I'm 35 years old I have 2 kids of my own. I also can clean and cook some if need be. I am first aid and CPR certified. I've worked at a couple day cares where I've worked with kids and worked in the kitchen. I love making crafts or art projects with kids as well. Making things fun and interesting for them. I hope to meet some amazing kids and help out some wonderful parents.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at the east side YMCA for awhile. I also worked at a daycare for a couple years. I worked at the barber center for 5years working with individuals with disabilities. I also worked in the kitchen at the YMCA and the barber center.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to color and paint. Making little project's with them that they are proud of. I've made play sand with my kids at the daycare along with other things.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Helping the parents feel that their kids are safe and taken care of while they work and do the things they have to do.

My experience with special needs children...

I've worked mostly with adults with special needs but I have worked with kids with autism or down syndrome.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I don't know if I have one specific moment but I love when I see kids smile and having fun with the things they are doing. I feel that kids are made to grow up way to fast and I don't see why kids can't just be kids anymore.
