My experience with special needs children...
I took care of a young lady with special needs. Me and her had such a great friendship and got extremely close. We loved the same artist’s, we both laughed over silly things, books and gossip became a fun experience for her. Gossiping about her favorite artist and we both loved eating ice cream while doing so. I felt so close and connected to both Rachel and her mother Debbie. Me and Rachel would go to the library and I would play and read with her. Lots of arts and crafts while listening to her favorite songs. Unfortunately she passed and that pulled me into the direction of caring for people with special needs. The feeling and bond is so special
