I believe children understand more then we give them credit for. Sometimes they just need some help to tell you what they need. I heard a phrase once that “children do well when they can”. In my opinion kids do not act out just to cause trouble. They usually just do not understand or they do not know the proper words to say what’s going on. Sometimes they may just be scared. My philosophy is to be patient, learning something for the first time is never easy. New experiences can be exciting but also at times terrifying. Having adventures and exploring is important any backyard can be a kingdom. It’s all in the mind you know?
