A little bit about me

I am a mother of three school aged children in Seattle. I have 20 years
experience in infant and child care. I have a desire to take my skills of
raising three wonderful kids and help other families in the early years of
Development. My youngest child had
significant medical needs as an infant through age 4 and I have gained
experience working with medically fragile children as a result. My
experience includes tube feeding, medication dosing, specialized feeding
plans, baby-led weaning, creating consistency in nap schedules,
encouraging creativity, fostering independence, forming community with
other families, introducing children to music, fostering a love of reading,
and encouraging social and emotional skills. I believe it is important for
children to connect with others in their community by engaging in group
activities like library reading times and play groups, and I enjoy being
outdoors as much as possible and encouraging a love of nature.
