Hi! My name is Jillian, and I'm a nursing student at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. With over eight years of experience caring for kids, I am deeply passionate about ensuring every child feels loved, supported, and cared for each day. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I believe in the power of play, especially imaginative play, for younger kids. It fosters creativity, problem-solving, and attention span. I love reading together, visiting the library, and exploring stories, which promotes a love for learning and language development. Arts and crafts also spark creativity while enhancing fine motor skills. Outdoor activities like park trips, nature walks, and playground fun support physical development and encourage social skills.

With older kids, I balance fun with educational opportunities. I help with schoolwork, plan educational activities like baking (which builds math and listening skills), and introduce science experiments to stimulate curiosity. I also enjoy creative projects, like building or arts and crafts, and activities such as scavenger hunts that strengthen critical thinking.

The most important part about being a nanny...

is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment. Building trust and a nurturing relationship with both the children in my care and their parents is my number one priority as a nanny. Creating this kind of environment allows kids to thrive, while also giving parents confidence and peace of mind knowing their precious ones are in good hands.
