Im married to a Richmond Public School teacher and am a mom of a teenager- she is 19 ! - sigh …it goes fast enjoy it !
My daughter is what what originally brought me to be a nanny / she was entering the teen years and became disinterested with me ! I was seeking out kids I could play ball and games , make art and feel appreciated as we did it ! I really enjoy working with kids ! So much so that I left the office world I had been doing before .I’ve worked for many families . Most recently I finished a 6 year job for a wonderful family ( letter of Rec available upon request - )

I was nannying for a 1 1/2 year old little boy, who desperately wanted to play in the snow. Unfortunately, the cold sort of overwhelmed him, and he couldn’t stay outside because it was too cold. We decided to set up a little table in the kitchen and bring a bucket of snow inside, he put on an apron and gave him some kitchen utensils, wooden spoons, some little cups etc. we played with that snow until it melted. It was just a little water to my mop up …completely worth the fun ! And bonus science lesson !
