More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have volunteered to help watch over/ care for the children at church whenever we had events going on.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy painting, drawing, completing puzzles, playing board games, watching tv/movies. I love when they take moments to show me all their toys & what they actually like to do. I’m very active and hands on when I watch children. I match whatever energy. If they love to run and play outside, so do I. Each child is different, and I love figuring out what works best for each. I am no stranger to keeping busy/having fun with the kids (I grew up with 4 siblings) Although I am very keen on making sure they remain safe and secure under my care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Having connections with the children. Watching them and making sure they’re safe is the number one factor, of course. But they don’t just want a “nanny”. Kids want someone they can talk to, a friend. They know they have to be watched because mommy and daddy are gone, but for sure they want a great experience, as well as I. They’re not gonna want multiple babysitters. They’re going to want to continue to see that one that made sure they had the most fun with, but kept them safe in the process. Talking to them, seeing what they like & incorporating that. In my cases, that was always key.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my kids actually taught me how to sew. That day, we both made a little sewn cat. It was the cutest and I enjoyed every second of it.
