The most important part about being a nanny is finding the joy in the mundane day to day tasks. Potty training, helping with dishes, doing bath time, picking up toys. There is always joy to be found, and if you can’t find it right away, you need to dig a little deeper.
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs ranges from behavioral to physical. I have taught kids on both ends of the autism spectrum, and worked with kids that had physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy. I am always willing to learn and understand every child’s needs.
