More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I helped teach a preschool class for a class when I was in highschool. It was a really fun experience where we got to make lesson plans for the students and teach them! I also was a part of the Missouri A+ Program, so I volunteered at Prairie View Elementary for about a month and helped at Kids Country every day after school.

I really enjoy crafting with kids and also doing different sensory activities. Sensory play is a really important part of child development that I feel like is often overlooked because of how messy it can be, but it can be really educational and fun!

Some of my favorite memories with the twins I cared for are when I would make them snacks and get them nakey and just let them play and eat. The cleanup was awful, and they were disgusting, but they were so happy. I occasionally cared for their older sister, she's 6, and she really loves it when I throw her onto the couch. Those giggles were just the best.
