Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a nanny for one year. I was also a Sunday school teacher for 5th graders for one year. I was a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Georgia for one year. I occasionally cared for my friend's kids and took them on solo trips. One particular friend had a medical condition, that required me to care for her three children continuously for a year.

Some of the activities that I have enjoyed doing with children in the past consist of;
crafts, light sports, reading, learning new places, museums, local and state fairs, various parks, community centers, yoga, hiking, and zoos just to name a few.

The most important part of being a nanny, to me, is teaching a child about empathy, kindness, manners, making friends, sharing, and new things, whether they be educational or creative.

My most memorable nanny moment took place one day when the children did not want to eat any lunch. I pretended to special order some sandwiches from a nearby deli. I made the sandwiches without them knowing, and I placed them on the front door and rang the door bell. I alerted the children that their sandwiches had just arrived, and they ate them with such joy, not knowing that they had been made in their own kitchen.
