More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
While I may not have any prior nannying jobs, I have plenty of experience helping my grandma take care of my little cousins (and according to her at least, I'm pretty good with kids!). I've had my fair share of babysitting gigs throughout high school, and every time has been a blast; even when the little ones have had a hard time not being with their mom or dad, we always figure out activities for the night that make everyone happy.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love encouraging children to use their imagination as much as possible. Drawing, playing pretend, and building blocks into the greatest "castles" you've ever seen are my forte!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny to me would be connecting with the kids. I always want any child I'm taking care of to really feel like I listen to them, and to know that I care about them. As much fun as I'm sure I would have being a nanny, at the end of the day it is a serious undertaking. And, if I'm doing a good job, I'll be making a positive impact on a child's life while I'm with them. Part of that is us having a good bond!

I have not had any experience with special needs children, but I am more than happy to learn!
The most important part about being a nanny...
A little while back (when my hair was dyed purple) my cousin Josie turned 5, and for her birthday she wanted her hair dyed bright pink. Her parents talked her down to a slightly more natural-looking pinkish-red, but she was still so excited to show me. It made my heart absolutely melt.
