I volunteer as a basketball camp counselor for large groups of elementary to middle school age children. I volunteered to read to children on Dr. Seuss day throughout high school. I have also assisted middle schoolers with their classes.

I love baking and reading with kids. I also really enjoy going outside, but I find that whatever the child wants to do the most will end up being the most enjoyable, because they'll have the most fun doing it.

To me, making sure the child I spend time with actually enjoys our time, while getting required tasks done (homework, chores), is the most important part.

I have experience with special needs children, through volunteered with the special needs program within my high schools. I have babysat for families with children who have special needs and I am a fast learner, so I would have no problem learning something new!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Watching Christmas movies with the children became our favorite activity. We wore Christmas pajamas, make a bunch of cookies, and spent the better part of a weekend watching classic holiday films!
