I worked at Canby Learning Tree daycare for two years and have been babysitting since I was 14, gaining valuable experience caring for children of various ages. While attending school in person, I also completed multiple child safety and CPR courses, further strengthening my knowledge and preparedness in childcare.

I love doing fun, hands-on activities with kids that help them learn and grow. Some of my favorites are arts and crafts, reading together, playing outside, and using imagination through games or pretend play. I also really enjoy helping with simple learning activities, like practicing letters or exploring new things in nature. I try to keep things fun, active, and based on what each child enjoys most.

It’s not just about supervision, for me it’s about supporting a child’s growth, providing consistency, and creating a positive, caring environment where they feel secure and valued.

One of my favorite nanny moments was when I worked at a daycare and, after our daily circle time, all the kids would run up for a big group hug. It was something we all looked forward to every day. It brought us together, made the kids feel connected, and helped teach them the importance of kindness and caring for one another. It was such a simple but special part of our routine.
